Who you pay

Fund The Club is the merchant of record. Bidders pay us in the United States. Clubs do not take cards directly. We hold winning bids, then pay the club its share.

The 90 / 10 split of net

Creating a listing costs nothing. Cards come off first. After proof is accepted, the club is paid 90% of the net collected after processing fees, and Fund The Club keeps 10% of that same net, after they connect a Stripe Express account. A $100 bid with about $3.20 in card fees leaves $96.80 net: club $87.12, Fund The Club $9.68. Live payouts use the real Stripe fee on that charge. Until proof is accepted the club gets $0. No Connect, no payout after proof. The listing can still run.

Optional $100 feature pin, only on the create form. If the club checks it, the $100 is charged up front. The listing goes live featured only after that payment clears. If payment fails, the listing does not publish as featured. Not required. Not shown on the home overview.

Held until proof

After a winning bid is charged, Fund The Club holds the money. The club has 180 days from auction end to upload photos of the finished jerseys with the winning logos actually printed on them (not mockups), and a receipt or invoice that shows quantity made. That quantity must be at least the number of jerseys listed at create. If they miss 180 days, or proof is rejected and not fixed in time, every winning bidder is refunded the amount they paid minus the original card processing fees. Those fees are gone. The club gets $0. Fund The Club does not keep the 10% on a failed fulfillment.

Bids and deposits

A live bid places a $10 refundable deposit and saves the card. If you are outbid, the deposit comes back. The winner is charged the rest when the clock the club set ends.

Demo mode

If Stripe keys are not configured, bids stay local and the $10 hold is fake. The 90/10 split of net (using the usual US card estimate) is still written on the bid, and stays held until proof. Demo manage can mark proof accepted so you can test the release.

Club fulfillment

I am authorized to sell these sponsorship spots for this club. Fund The Club holds every winning bid until we upload photos of the finished jerseys with the winning logos printed on them, plus a receipt or invoice that shows we made at least the listed number of jerseys. We have 180 days from auction end. If we miss that, or proof is rejected and not fixed in time, every winning bidder is refunded what they paid minus card processing fees. The club gets $0. Fund The Club does not keep the 10% on a failed fulfillment.

Clubs check that box to publish. We store the time they agreed and this exact wording.

What bidders should know

The club must approve every logo. If they turn yours down, you get a full refund and the spot goes to the next-highest bidder.

Held until the club proves the kit was made. The club has 180 days from auction end to upload photos of the finished jerseys with the winning logos printed on them, and a receipt or invoice for the quantity. If they miss that, or proof is rejected and not fixed in time, you get the amount you paid minus card processing fees. Those fees are gone. The club gets $0.

Club approval

Every logo and sponsor must be approved by the club. If a winning logo is not approved, that bidder is refunded in full and the spot is offered to the next-highest bidder, then the next, until an approved logo is chosen.

Coming soon

Logos inside the numbers, and we can help design and make the whole kit. One stop from design and print, to funding, to wear. Not live yet. No bids and no checkout for those.

Print and brands

Winning logos print on the physical kit. Keep the club crest. Do not put Nike, Adidas, or Soccer Innovations on the chest.
